Absolutely fabulous, @jane. I'm so thrilled you've chosen to share this and your process with us here in this very personal context on Substack. Welcome back. I wish I could jet from California to enjoy the thrill of the performance. Your words have me feeling the welcome mat. 🥹

Thanks Barb! It's actually a shock to me that this opportunity 'happened' quite quickly after Lost in Shanghai. I thought it would take years to bring it into the light, so when you get the hand to help you up... take it! It won't stop me being part of the beautiful family history community here on Substack 🤗

The first three steps of the ‘Rebel Talk’ process are remarkably similar to the art of communication involved with learning platforms when presenting the Australian curriculum to children from 5 to 13 years of age.

Like any conversation an educator must discover what the discoverer already knows through questions and listening to their answers.

I hope you find your ‘element’ or place where you naturally connect with your abilities and versatility, as an interviewer.

We started our expedition/ migration to Aus in Newcastle which was humid. Melbourne is not so and mirrors our UK extremes of frost and summer days without rain! Thank you for the kind thought.
